Congrats on your new son. Sorry to hear about the craziness you are having to deal with. I dont have any advice but I bet once you are home things will be a lot different.
We have been home a week now with our 9 year old daughter from China and our 6th child. She was in the same foster family for 7 years. She listened pretty well to us in China but now home we have dealt with a few things here and there but nothing major Thank God.
She has not really show any real grieving yet at least not that we can see. She did cry briefly on the bus to the train to HOng Kong and let us comfort her. We have found out some things about her foster family so maybe she is a little happy to not be with them anymore.
